This year, we decide to make costume karaoke an annual affair. Positioned just a week after the holiday of Halloween, this is an opportune time for you to get some more mileage out of your halloween costume or buy multiple costumes for this affair (plus all that Halloween shit will be like 50-75% off come All Saints Day aka November 1) .
Being older means stepping up your game. We don't get many opportunities to dress up and take the stage...so do it. We've created this opportunity. Take this moment. Channel your inner diva and live a little (YOLO).
You should be very dramatic about your performance. We took the time to reserve a stage in a 100+ year old social club, Ruba Club. We are going to take your souls and blow your minds.
To help cover our costs, we ask that you throw in $10 that you can pay online via Ticketleap or at the door. Feel free to donate a few more bucks that we'll donate to Girls Rock Philly.
Cash bar and snacks will be available. All this is happening in the 2nd floor ballroom at Ruba Club. Karaoke will take place from 9:30pm-1:30am. Costumes are strongly encouraged but not required. Feel free to invite/bring friends and loved ones!
